Sunset In Oia & Traditional Villages with Transportation
Start with the oldest Byzantine church of the island, a former bishop's church built in 1115. The church is dedicated to Panagia, a Greek Orthodox name for Holy Mary. Catholics and Orthodox Christians fighting over who owned and had control over it for over 150 years and it is considered to be one of the most historical monuments.
Mesa Gonia village , the authentic village the only one that was not restored after the big earthquaqe, is the next stop. Is considered to be the center of Santorinian wine production with its special volcanic varieties.
Continue with Pyrgos village, one of the most picturesque villages of the island. Pyrgos used to be the capital of Santorini. You will have the chance to stroll around the village and take pictures of its beautiful churches and enjoy a magnificent view of the island once you reach the Venetian Fort at the top of the village.
Final stop is the village of Oia. From Oia we will enjoy the famous breathtaking sunset. The day couldn't finish without the legentary sunset view, it will spellbound you!
