Imbros gorge walk and swimming at Frangokastello
The Imbros Gorge is about 780 m above sea level and is immediately the neighboring gorge of the Samaria. It is about 8 km long and can easily be walked through in 2 to 3 hours. The gorge winds partly in a serpentine manner and becomes at one point so narrow that you can touch the walls with outstretched arms.
At the end of the gorge is the village Komitades, where you will have free time for lunch. Afterwards, you will drive to Frangokastello, an old Venetian castle, where your guide will tell you about its interesting past before having free time to take a dip in the cool Libyan sea and start the journey back in the early afternoon.

Entrance fee of the gorge is 5,00 Euro and is not included in the price. Although only 8 kilometers, the path is rocky and not recommended for persons with health problems.
