Gramvousa & Balos Lagoon from Plakias
The excursion starts by bus from Plakias at 07:00. After 2 hrs you will reach the port of Kastelli . From there, the boat will head to Gramvousa.
There you can marvel at the Venetian castle, where the past is still alive. In the 18th century, pirates sought refuge here. Your journey continues to one of the most famous beaches in Crete.
In the bay of Balos, the shimmering pink natural beach lures visitors for a long bathing stay. The water's blue-green shade invites you to cool off.The bay is protected by coral reefs, and the shallow water is also suitable for children.
The buses will return to Plakias around 19:30.
