Description

The MUST beaches of Thassos with 4x4

Dive in the four incredible beaches of Thassos Island, and be enchanted from the blue, crystal clear waters. Marble Beach, Paradise Beach, Salonikios Beach and Astris Beach, true gems of Thassos.

First place to visit, the Marble beach. A small exotic beach in the northern side of Thassos.  The white sand and the marble flinders at the seabed give the water its stunning emerald colour, like a pool.  Surrounded by pines and rocks makes the place unique as it reminds a tropical coast. An isolated beach with its own beach bar, and small yachts and ships around, is magnificent and picturesque place.

Wide sandy beach, with crystal shallow waters, Paradise beach comes next. Wonderful sea with fine white sand, and beautiful green landscape. The landscape becomes even more beautiful with the presence of the small island directly opposite the beach. What makes it special is the permanent rippling of the waters. Incredible beach, suitable for games, especially for children.

At the southernmost edge of Thassos following a dirt road you reach Salonikios beach. A small golden beach with rock formations around and dense pines makes the place unique. Suitable for snorkeling with crystal clear waters and great atmosphere!

Final stop at Astris Beach, with white sand and shingles is the perfect place for swimming. See the carnage at the quaint gulf and enjoy a refreshment or meal at the beach bar or the Greek tavern.
