Mount Athos Cruise from Ouranoupolis

After picking you up, you will go directly at Ormos Panagias, a small port where the ship is waiting for you for your sailing towards the south of the Athos Peninsula.

The trip begins with directions to the southern limit of the peninsula, where the highest point is 2,033 meters. 

Following that, you will sail north along the western coast, where you will be able to observe from the boat the magnificent and mysterious center of Orthodoxy, as well as learn more about the history of Mount Athos and its eight monasteries.

Following that, you will arrive in Ouranoupoli, where you will have enough free time to explore the village, shop, or simply enjoy a traditional meal.

On the way back from Ouranoupoli, the boat will sail to the west, and for an hour and a half until you arrive at Ormos Panagias again, you will watch a wonderful program with traditional dances and Greek music.
