Aradena gorge & Loutro village from Plakias

The Aradena Gorge lies between the Samaria and the Imbros Gorge. The trek is similar to Imbros Gorge with a total length of approx. 5 km. The difficulty level of Aradena corresponds to the level of the Samaria Gorge and is just as beautiful.

After approximately 3 hours walking you reach the exit of Aradena Gorge at the astonishing Marmara Beach, where you will have about 1 hour time to swim and cool off.
Then the special experience continues, you will take a boat to go further west to the picturesque village of Loutro. This village is only reachable by boat and will give you a glance on a different magical Crete. You have about 2 hours in this beautiful village to rest and relax.

Afterwards you will take again the boat that brings you to Chora Sfakia where the bus awaits you and brings you back to Plakias.
