Aradena gorge & Loutro village from Plakias

The Aradena Gorge lies between Samaria and the Imbros Gorge. The trek is similar to Imbros Gorge, with a total length of approximately 5 km. The difficulty level of Aradena corresponds to the level of the Samaria Gorge and is just as beautiful.

After approximately 3 hours of walking, you reach the exit of Aradena Gorge at the astonishing Marmara Beach, where you will have about 1 hour to swim and cool off.
Then the special experience continues, you will take a boat to go further west to the picturesque village of Loutro. This village is only reachable by boat and will give you a glimpse of a different, magical Crete. You have about 2 hours in this beautiful village to rest and relax.

Afterwards, you will take the boat again that brings you to Chora Sfakia, where the bus awaits you and brings you back to Plakias.
